small感到阴郁又黑暗
Small was feeling grim and dark.
他又丢又掷，乱搞破坏
Playing toss and fling and squash.
大喊大叫，横冲直撞
Yell and scream and bang and crash.
打破掰断，搞砸捣烂
Break and snap and bash and batter.
"我的老天,“Large说:"这是怎么了"
"Good grief",said Large,"What is the matter?"
Small说:"我是一个阴郁暴躁的小small"
Small said,"I'm a grim and grumpy little small"
"根本没人爱我"
"and nobody loves me at all"
"哦Small,"Large说,"无论你是否暴躁“
"Oh Smal,"said Large,"Grumpy or not,"
"我永远会爱你,不计其他"
"I'll always love you no matter what."
Small 说:"如果我是一直灰熊"
Small said,""if I was a grizzly bear."
你还会爱我吗,还会在乎我吗?
would U still love me,would Ucare?"
"当然了",Large说,"无论你是不是灰熊"
"Of couse,"said Large,"bear or not",
"我永远会爱你,不计其他“
“I'll always love you no matter what."
Small说：“可是‘
Small said，“but
如果我变成一直小虫，
if I turned into a bug，
你是否还会爱我，将我相拥？“
would U still love me and give me a hug？“
"当然会了",Large说,"无论你是不是小虫"
"Of couse I would"said Large,"bug or not",
"我永远会爱你，不计其他“
“I'll always love you no matter what."
“不及其他吗？”Small笑着问，
“No matter what？"said Small，and smiled，
“如果我是一只鳄鱼呢？”
“What if I was a crocodile？”
Large说：“我会把你紧紧拥抱，
Large said“I'd hug U close and tight
”爱会耗尽吗？Small问，
“Does love wear out？”said Small，
“它会不会破碎弯折？
“Dose it break or bend？
“你能不能修好它，粘回他，它会恢复吗？”
Can U fix it，stick it，does it mend？“
“拜托了，”Large说，“我可没那么聪明“
“Oh help，”said Large"I'm not that clever."
我只知道我会永远爱你。
I just know I'll love you forever
Small又问:
Small said,
“可是，等到我们死亡、离去，
"but what about when we're dead and gone？
“你还会爱我吗？爱会不会延续？”
would U love me then？does love go on？“
Large把 Small 稳稳抱起，与他一起看着窗外的夜色，
Large held Small as they looked out at the night,
看着黑暗中的月亮与闪烁的星光
at the moon in the dark，and the stars shining bright。
“Small，你看那些星星多么闪亮”
“Small，look at thestars-how they shine and glow，”
“可是有些星星很久以前就已死亡."
"but some of those stars died a long time ago."
"但他们仍在暮色中闪耀。“
“Still they shine in the evening skies
“爱正如星光，永不熄灭”
“love，like starlight，never dies.”
